Sean Sheppheard Jr. was born and raised in the chilly Midwest of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Raised by a strong single mother, he faced many hardships including economic disparities. Surrounded by 9 loving sisters, he found the motivation to leave his hometown in pursuit of a better life. With nothing but faith, and an acceptance letter, he traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to attend the historic, and world renowned Morehouse College, a Private liberal arts institution dedicated to transforming Men into leaders.

 

After graduating with honors with a degree in Finance and Economics, Sean began his career as an analyst and steadily worked his way up through Accounting and Finance leadership roles. Along the way, he built experience across multiple industries, from commercial real estate and retail to emerging sectors like AI. His background includes improving financial systems, streamlining workflows through automation, and ultimately serving in corporate leadership roles where he managed multimillion-dollar budgets and supported distributed teams across the world.

Driven by a passion for entrepreneurship and service, Sean founded Sheppheard Financial LLC to empower small businesses to grow and to help individuals better understand their finances. Over the years, he has worked with passionate professionals, entrepreneurs, and business owners who often do not lack vision or work ethic, but simply need the right financial guidance, structure, and support to reach the next level. Through Sheppheard Financial, Sean is committed to making finance feel clearer, more practical, and more empowering for the people and businesses he serves.

Sean is a certified AFC and an active member of the Association for Financial Planning & Education(AFCPE), National Association of Black Accountants(NABA), Atlanta Black Chamber(ABC) Financial Planning Association of Georgia(FPA), and the

Morehouse College National Alumni Association(MCNAA).
 

Sean also enjoys reading the classical philosophy of Plato and spending quality time with his loved ones.
