Sean Sheppheard Jr. was born and raised in the chilly Midwest of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Raised by a strong single mother, he faced many hardships including economic disparities and racial prejudices. Surrounded by 10 loving sisters, he found the motivation to leave his hometown in pursuit of a better life. With nothing but faith, and an acceptance letter, he traveled to Atlanta, Georgia to attend the historic, and world renowned Morehouse College, a Private liberal arts institution dedicated to transforming Men into leaders.

After graduating with honors and obtaining a Finance and Economics degree, Sean entered the corporate workforce. He worked as a Business Analyst for a Billion dollar company in the Commercial Real Estate space where he learned about corporate culture, leadership, and big data. Sean also has experience as an Accountant for a Franchise Management company improving internal systems through automation, and improved workflows. After leaving his corporate roles, he took the leap of faith to pursue his passion of helping others achieve their financial dreams.

Always having a passion for entrepreneurship, Sean launched his own Financial Planning firm targeted towards minority owned businesses and individuals. Sheppheard Financial LLC holds up to a Fiduciary Standard. Operating as an Independent and Fee-Based he hopes to help other minorities and entrepreneurs achieve financial freedom one step at a time.

Sean is an active member of the National Association of Black Accountants(NABA), the American Finance Association(AFA), Financial Therapy Association(FTA), Financial Planning Association of Georgia(FPA), and the Morehouse College National Alumni Association(MCNAA).

Sean also enjoys reading the classical philosophy of Plato and spending quality time with his loved ones.
